Important: Alcohol Delivery Rules

In accordance with Australian Liquor Laws, Authority to Leave (ATL) is NOT available for any order.

  • A person aged 18+ must be present to sign for the delivery.
  • A valid Australian ID (Driver’s License, Passport, or Proof of Age card) must be presented to the courier upon request.
  • Couriers will refuse delivery if the recipient appears intoxicated or cannot provide adequate ID.

1. Shipping Rates & Destinations

We provide secure liquor freight across Australia using specialized couriers authorized to transport alcohol.

  • Standard Flat Rate: $15.00 AUD nationwide.
  • Free Shipping: Available on all orders over $200.00 AUD.
  • Exclusions: We do not ship to international addresses or PO Boxes.

2. Estimated Delivery Times

All orders are dispatched from our warehouse within 24–48 hours.

  • Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane: 2–4 business days.
  • Adelaide, Canberra, Perth: 5–7 business days.
  • Regional Areas, Darwin, Hobart: 7–10 business days.

3. Restricted Postcodes (Dry Zones)

Good Bourbons complies with state and local government “Dry Zone” legislation. We cannot ship to the following restricted areas:

  • Northern Territory: All communities identified as restricted areas.
  • Queensland: Aurukun, Doomadgee, Mornington Island, and other restricted postcodes.
  • Western Australia: Various remote communities as per WA Liquor Licensing.(Orders placed with delivery addresses in these zones will be cancelled and refunded minus a $10 processing fee.)

4. Our Courier Partners

We partner with Australia Post (Wine & Spirits Service) and specialized liquor couriers to ensure your bottles are handled with care. Every shipment is tracked, and you will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been dispatched.

5. Return to Sender (ID Failure)

If a delivery fails because no one over 18 was available to sign or valid ID was not provided, the order will be returned to our warehouse.

  • Restocking Fee: A $25.00 AUD fee applies to all “Return to Sender” orders due to ID failure.
  • Re-delivery: Will require the payment of a new shipping fee.
